A popular item on girls' Christmas wish lists is the pink netbook. Having one for many girls is a "must have" item. The reason appears to be two-fold.
First of all, at Christmas the color pink is overwhelmingly popular. Most girls love this color. Their rooms often are decorated in a theme that is based upon it, the dominating color in most of their clothes is pink and whenever they have a choice regarding an item, the color pink prevails.
Secondly, a pink netbook is a much-needed resource for girls in today's world. Computers have become a staple resource at schools for students. At home, kids are using them when they do their homework, communicating with others, as well as for special projects and as a source of entertainment.
