Having been through the Irish Education system it is plain to see that the leaving certificate is a hurdle best not attempted without some support. With this in mind I compiled a *list of study tips *that will help you get your head around the idea of another year of hard work. This is not a substitute for a comprehensive re-examination of how you will spend your study time, just something to get you thinking about how you will make the most of your time with the books. I.Know thine enemy
This year will be painful but it will go past quickly and before you know it, you will be sitting exams. All your study should be aimed towards answering exam questions, so if you are studying the circle for honours maths in school, make sure that you are looking at exam questions on the circle - you absorb much more information when you know you have to use it. If you are taking maths grinds then make sure you get your grinds teacher to go through past questions with you.

II. Apply what you have learned
Once you have completed a topic then attempt to answer a question from previous exam papers. Your objective should be to have a short synopsis of an answer for each possible
